Somewhere between the plot twist and whatever comes next, there is Tuesday.
Grace & Plot Twists is for women living faithfully inside a life that looks different from the one they expected. Divorce. Betrayal. Widowhood. Grief. A diagnosis. A family change. A career turn. A relationship that ended without a funeral. Sometimes the plot twist is loud. Sometimes it's a quiet realization that the life you thought you were building isn't the life you're in.
We are not here to rush you to the lesson. We are here for the middle.
The day everything changed may have been dramatic. The rebuilding rarely is. It's the Tuesday afternoon when the attorney emails, the groceries still need buying, the empty chair is still empty, the doctor calls back, somebody needs a ride, and you're trying to decide what faith looks like in the next ten minutes.
That's the space Grace & Plot Twists is built for. Not the announcement. Not the polished testimony after everything worked out. The in-between. The ordinary days when you still love God and also have questions, grief, anger, paperwork, laundry, and a life that keeps asking to be lived.
"The washing machine died. I have not showered in three days. The doctor just called with my test results, and I don't know who to call next."
what an ordinary Tuesday actually sounds like
Some twists redirect us away from things we couldn't see. Some open doors we never would have thought to knock on. Some are simply painful, and we're not interested in making you rename pain so everyone else feels better about it.
Faith does not require pretending. You can trust God and still hate what happened. You can be grateful and grieving. You can forgive and keep a boundary. You can have hope and still have a terrible Tuesday. God can handle the whole sentence.
We write honestly about the parts that don't fit neatly into a testimony, and we make practical paper tools for the days when your brain, heart, faith, and calendar are all carrying too much.
Maybe you need words for something you haven't been able to say.
Maybe you need a page that helps you sort what's yours to do and what was never yours to carry.
Maybe you need something to send a friend when "everything happens for a reason" would make both of you want to throw the card away.
Some days the hard part isn't knowing what to do. It's realizing you've quietly taken responsibility for other people's choices, their opinions, the ending, the timing, the court system, the future, and possibly God's entire department.
The God Column helps sort it back out. This isn't a formula for getting the outcome you want. It's a place to get honest about what belongs in your hands today.
Right now our deepest work begins with children of all ages, marriage or dating, or not dating or not being married, starting over, starting at all, disruption, identity loss, and the rebuilding, the re-being, because who has the time for this?
Grace & Plot Twists is bigger than any one kind of twist. We're also making room for health changes, caregiving, motherhood, adoption, estrangement, empty nest, career change, relationships that end without a funeral, relationships that end with a funeral, grief of all kinds, faith disruption, and the strange work of becoming someone new without losing yourself.
How do I manage this plot twist with faith (and sanity)?
No five-step plan. No spiritual gold star. No pretending the hard thing is secretly easy because we found a verse for it. Just stories, useful tools, a little humor when it belongs, and faith with enough room for the whole week.
No spam. No "everything happens for a reason." Just honest mail.
